Welcome to Giddgo ("Giddgo", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Giddgo's website, WhatsApp ordering service, mobile applications (when available), and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. About Giddgo

Giddgo is a neighbourhood delivery and errand platform that connects customers with local businesses and independent delivery riders for services including but not limited to:

  • Food Delivery
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Pharmacy Pickups
  • Shopping Assistance
  • Package Delivery
  • Everyday Errands

Our services may vary depending on your location and operational availability.

2. Eligibility

To use Giddgo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse service where these requirements are not met.

3. User Accounts

Some Giddgo services may require you to provide personal information or create an account.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your account.

4. Placing Orders

Orders may be placed through:

  • WhatsApp
  • The Giddgo website
  • The Giddgo mobile application (when available)

All orders are subject to confirmation by Giddgo.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order due to availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or operational limitations.

5. Pricing

Delivery charges are determined based on factors including:

  • Distance
  • Delivery location
  • Service type
  • Waiting time
  • Special delivery requirements

Customers will receive the applicable charges before confirming an order.

6. Payments

Payment methods accepted by Giddgo may include:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Debit Cards
  • Wallet Payments (when available)
  • Other approved payment methods

Payment may be required before an order or errand begins.

7. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only.

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • Traffic conditions
  • Weather
  • Merchant preparation time
  • Rider availability
  • Road conditions
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

Giddgo does not guarantee exact delivery times.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Customers may request cancellation before a rider has been dispatched or before an order has been prepared.

Where work has already commenced, cancellation fees may apply.

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances of the order.

9. Customer Responsibilities

When using Giddgo, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate delivery information.
  • Make payment when due.
  • Be available to receive your order.
  • Treat our riders, merchants, and customer support staff respectfully.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purpose

10. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants using Giddgo agree to:

  • Prepare orders accurately.
  • Maintain quality standards.
  • Update product availability where applicable.
  • Honour confirmed orders.
  • Comply with applicable food safety and business regulations.

11. Rider Responsibilities

Giddgo riders are expected to:

  • Deliver orders professionally.
  • Follow all traffic and road safety regulations.
  • Treat customers respectfully.
  • Protect customer property during delivery.
  • Wear approved Giddgo identification while on duty.

12. Prohibited Items

Giddgo does not transport items that are illegal or unsafe.

Examples include:

  • Illegal drugs
  • Weapons
  • Explosives
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Stolen property
  • Any item prohibited under Nigerian law

Giddgo reserves the right to refuse any delivery request that violates applicable laws or our policies.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Giddgo website and platforms, including our logo, brand name, designs, graphics, icons, text, and software, is owned by Giddgo or its licensors.

No part of our intellectual property may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide reliable services, Giddgo shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, merchant delays, rider availability, or force majeure events.

Our liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the amount paid for the affected service.

15. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Service without prior notice where we reasonably believe a user has:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Engaged in fraudulent activity
  • Misused our platform
  • Endangered our riders, merchants, employees, or customers

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on our website and will become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of Giddgo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
